LeLand DeVaughn did not start out as a speaker. He started as a man who was trying to hold everything together — and failing at it quietly. On the outside, he looked like he had it figured out. Army veteran. Competitive athlete. Leader in every room he walked into. But behind the strength was a man who was leading from depletion, running on discipline alone, and slowly breaking apart in the areas no one could see.
The fire came — not as a single moment, but as a season. And in that season, LeLand realized that everything he had been taught about leadership was incomplete. Every program, every mentor, every framework had only addressed one part of who he was. No one had ever shown him how to develop the whole man — the mind, the body, the spirit, and the influence — all at once.
That is when Iron 2:52 was born. Not as a brand. As a response. LeLand built the framework he wished someone had given him — a four-dimensional model rooted in the same pattern Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52. And for the past 15 years, he has been bringing that framework to every man, every leader, and every organization willing to do the hard work of getting forged.
